Canada Life planning to make virtual health care a standard benefit

Canada Life, formerly known as Great West Life has recently announced that they have partnered with Dialogue Technologies Inc. to make virtual health care a standard benefit for all Canada Life group benefits plans with up to 400 plan members.

Canada Life is planning to implement this new standard benefit this summer to help all group members and their dependents save hours of time waiting in-person for non-urgent care. They will have access to Dialogue’s fully bilingual virtual health care platform that can be assessed from anywhere in Canada, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a web browser or mobile app.

Through this system, users will be able to chat directly with nurses and physicians and receive a diagnosis, medical advice, referrals, and prescriptions if necessary.
